AWS A5.20: E71T-1/9/12CJ H4
An excellent 100% CO2 gas shielded flux cored wire for applications those demand all position welding capability, high quality, low Hydrogen (H4) and more demanding Charpy impact toughness compared to moderate applications. This wire is formulated with -60°C Charpy impact toughness conformance (undiluted weld metal tested as per ASME BPVC Section II Part C SFA 5.20) and high UTS, YS, CVN properties in “As Welded” and even after long PWHT soak durations (13 hours soak at 621°C). The wire is engineered to provide CTOD compliance and to meet sour service requirements. Outstanding wire option for steel fabrication, piping, pressure vessel, and offshore.
