Fabshield 91T8 is a Self Shielded (Gasless) Flux Cored Arc Welding (S-FCAW) wire which is engineered to give high productivity, all-position welding capability, low Hydrogen (H8) weld metal with very high impact toughness, simple to use welding solution for outdoor welding applications. Where supply or/and protection of shielding gases is a challenge (like welding at yards, heights, barges, pipelines, moderately windy conditions) this wire can be a big help to the users to start the welding with a simple setup. This wire can be used on fill & cap welding applications of onshore transmission pipelines involving steel grades up to API 5L Grade 80 and high strength steel grade joint welding in offshore structures.
