Fabshield XLR-8

Fabshield XLR-8 is a self-shielded (Gasless) flux-cored Arc Welding (S-FCAW) wire that provides high productivity, all-position welding capability, low hydrogen (H8) weld metal with good impact toughness, and is simple to use to meet outdoor welding requirements. In situations where shielding gases are difficult to supply or protect (for example, welding at heights, on barges, moderately windy conditions), this wire can be a great help to users to start welding.
Using this wire, you can also perform single-sided full-penetration welding on plates, pipes, and shapes, thereby avoiding costly back-gouging operations. Ideal for structural steel welding, bridge construction, tank welding, and heavy-thickness welding.
