AWS A5.1: E6010

Hobart 610 is an excellent choice for the root pass welding of transmission pipeline project, and for the fill and cap welding of construction and shipbuilding, general purpose fabrication, maintenance welding, pipe welding and vertical and overhead plate welding. Excellent arc-stability, quick arc starting, excellent vertical down welding, very good wash-in, light slag will be big plus for the welding where cellulosic (AWS E6010) electrodes are preferred.
