What are you going to do?

 

We are looking for driven individuals to work as Welding Sales Engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing project specifications related to welding processes, filler metal, and heat treatment requirements. You will also need to plan and execute application projects utilizing ITW’s range of Welding Equipment and Welding Consumables.

 

1. Probe and Identify Prospects and Projects
2. Visit customers and prospects across the Middle East Region
3. Work closely with the Distributor Sales team
4. Conduct presentations at customer accounts and promotional activities
5. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education

 

What qualifies you?

 

1. Min. Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering or related field
2. Min. 3-4 years of welding market experience and knowledge
3. Sound knowledge of welding equipment, welding filler metals, and welding processes
4. Solid leadership and communication skills
5. Prior knowledge of CRM will be a plus
6. Strong organizational and administrative skills
7. Computer literate

What are you going to do?

 

To develop potential markets for welding filler metals. He/ She must establish close relationships with key clients & business partners and shall conduct site visits to boost market initiatives. This role requires travel, analytical thinking skills, and deep technical knowledge of welding consumables.

 

1. Collaborate closely with regional sales managers to improve the generation of leads and prospects for welding consumables.
2. Contribute to the growth of welding consumables sales by offering strategic plans and ideas to management.
3. Offer expert product support and advice to the sales team, customers, and partners.
4. Provide assistance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they fully understand the product and its strategies, customized for
each segment or client’s needs.
5. Foster and maintain relationships to be recognized as a reliable technical consultant.
6. Facilitate interactive sessions for product presentations, live demonstrations, and training programs for clients and business partners.
7. Participate in prominent industry fairs and exhibitions
8. Undertake frequent international travel to engage with our principal clients or channel partners
9. Visit our manufacturing facility in the USA and stay in touch with our global teams regularly. 

 

What qualifies you?

 

1. The ideal candidate for the position should possess a strong passion for welding
2. Candidates with experience in a related sector, such as Oil & Gas, Water & Power, or Offshore & Structural, are preferred. This includes roles in sales, product management, and technical positions. Additionally, knowledge of welding consumables and metallurgy is required
3. Proficiency in English Language
Candidates with a background in metallurgy or welding engineering are preferred. A Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Welding Engineering or Welding Metallurgy is a must.

Your Profile:

 

1. Bachelor’s Degree and profound experience in a similar role in a field of complex technical products
2. Basic welding knowledge and experience in the field of high purity, dairy, pharma, and in L&G for stainless steel process tubing
3. Proven track record of developing positive and trustful customer relationships
4. Strong analytical skills to understand complex commercial and technical situations as well as hands-on orientation for product demonstrations.
5. Ability to analyze specific needs of markets and derive measures to grow the business
6. Highly motivated for new customer acquisition and cold visits
7. Affinity for connectivity and industry 4.0
8. Exceptional organizational, and planning skills and systematic way of working
9. Outstanding negotiation and communication skills on all levels of partners
10. Affinity for using social media as a sales channel and for using a CRM system
11. Good in the English language
12. UAE driving license and flexibility for traveling in Middle East countries on a frequent basis (25% travel time)

Your Profile:

 

1. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications in welding from a reputed institute
2. Candidates with work experience as a Welder or Welding Supervisor
3. Minimum 3 to 4 years experience in professional welding in a reputed firm.
4. Must have experience in GMAW & GTAW process.
5. Must be able to travel to customer locations across Saudi Arabia & Bahrain
6. Highly motivated for new customer acquisition and cold visits
7. Candidates having work experience in Saudi Arabia preferred
8. Transferable Iqama preferred
